Demand for dairy products in China has more than doubled in the past five years. APV® is helping one of the nation’s fastest growing dairy manufacturers meet this demand by supplying turnkey services at its new plant near Shanghai.
The China-based dairy manufacturer is using numerous APV components and systems to manufacture a range of yogurts, cheese and pasteurized milk at its new yogurt plant in Suzhou. It’s the first facility in China for which the local APV manufacturing center is providing turnkey services.
The opening of the APV manufacturing center, located in Xidu, has made the automated processing equipment from SPX’s APV brand less expensive and more convenient for Chinese customers.
APV has been supplying locally assembled plate heat exchangers from its Shunyi factory since 1997 but the new Xidu facility adds production of other components like pumps and valves, as well as design, engineering, sales and service offices.
